The Department of Management in the Carlos Alvarez College of Business at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) consists of 23 full-time faculty members and offers undergraduate degrees in management and human resources and a doctoral degree in management and organization studies. Salary Range: Commensurate with education, experience and qualifications.
Hours: Part Time position (1 x 3 SCH course, weekend delivery), non-exempt.

Essential Functions
The selected candidate will teach a course (BLW 6553: Legal, Ethical, and Social Issues of Healthcare Management) for the Executive MBA program Health Care Professionals track.
Required Qualifications
• Master's degree or higher degree in healthcare management, ethics, or related field.
• Experience with teaching and university service at the graduate level.
• Evidence of outstanding performance in previous teaching assignments, and professional experience will be evaluated.
Preferred Qualifications
• Industry experience at the manager/director level.
Additional Information
• This is a one-term appointment, beginning Summer 2024, with an option to renew annually.
• UTSA is a tobacco-free campus.

Working Conditions
This position will be primarily located on campus. Travel and parking expenses are the employee's responsibility.
