Lecturer- Information Science

The School of Information at RIT invites applications for a Lecturer position, beginning August 2025. The successful candidate will be able to teach a range of high demand, lab-based courses in the areas of introductory and advanced networking, programming and/or project management. Familiarity with best practices in teaching introductory programming and networking courses is preferred. Knowledge of artificial intelligence and machine learning is also desirable. In particular, we seek candidates who have experience in three or more of the following areas:

• Network engineering and protocols
• Routing and Switching technologies
• Network security and protocols
• Cloud computing and operations
• Object Oriented Programming in Python and Java
• OS Scripting (BASH, PowerShell)
• Project management
