Assistant/Associate Professor

The Department of Electrical and Microelectronic Engineering at the Rochester Institute of Technology invites applications from candidates in the areas of nanoelectronics, semiconductor devices, digital integrated electronics, quantum, optoelectronics or integrated photonics. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, and/or Microelectronic Engineering or a closely related field. Candidates must have prior teaching experience; a potential for establishing and conducting sponsored research; excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to collaborate within and beyond the department; and ability to contribute in meaningful ways to the university’s continuing commitment to cultural diversity, pluralism and individual differences.

Faculty responsibilities include teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, conducting sponsored research programs, and providing service to the university community.
