Salary Range: Up to $75,000 annualized, commensurate with education, experience and qualifications.

Essential Functions
Job Summary
This is a grant-funded position, with an expected ending date of September 30, 2029 which may be extended or shortened based upon availability of grant funds and/or work.
Provide leadership and direction in the administration, programming, and supervision of The Promoting Postbaccalaureate Opportunities for Hispanic Americans PPOHA Grant Project, mailto:xQuant@ACOB. Responsible for all aspects of project operations and/or maintains responsibility for a major functional unit(s) within a project.
Core Responsibilities
• Serves on mailto:xQuant@ACOB's management team.
• Establishes priorities, standards and project evaluation processes, ensuring that evaluation methods are sound, and that data is available for members of evaluation team.
• Develops and implements processes to ensure professional and efficient operation of the project.
• Develops the project's strategic plan based on mailto:xQuant@ACOB's goals.
• Manages administrative functions to ensure efficient operations of mailto:xQuant@ACOB, including but not limited to providing technical assistance to team; monitoring project timelines; conducting program assessments; providing guidance to staff on policies and procedures; serving as Team point of contact for all things related to employment; assisting with hiring and onboarding process; monitoring staff performance; and working with Project Steering Committee Chair and internal offices to address concerns.
• Develops budget updates for the project and oversees fiscal responsibilities, including but not limited to preparing and maintaining project fiscal and technical reporting for grant and preparing and evaluating budget change requests. Communicates with the Project's budget and financial officers to ensure financial coordination and compliance.
• Participates in planning, directing and coordinating of operational or procedural matters to meet project goals and objectives, including but not limited to managing current and upcoming program contract agreements, drafting and filing a variety of contracts paperwork, and maintaining excellent working relationships with internal and external customers and consultants.
• Supervises and provides guidance to , including but not limited to preparing and maintaining project fiscal and technical reporting for grant and preparing and evaluating budget change requests. Communicates with the Project's budget and financial officers to ensure financial coordination and compliance.
• Participates in planning, directing and coordinating of operational or procedural matters to meet project goals and objectives, including but not limited to managing current and upcoming program contract agreements, drafting and filing a variety of contracts paperwork, and maintaining excellent working relationships with internal and external customers and consultants.
• Supervises and provides guidance to mailto:xQuant@ACOB's coaching team and other team sub-units to ensure successful implementation of activities.
• Provides development and leadership of staff members.
• Ensures and promotes the development of staff through coaching, training, and leadership development, ensuring that they are trained on grant legislation, regulations, and policies.
• Monitors compliance and adheres to all laws, regulations, conditions of the grant, assurances and certifications, and all unit, department, university and government standards, policies and procedures. Participates in professional development and may attend conferences to remain current with standard and University, local, state and federal guidelines, regulations and electronic submission requirements.
• Analyzes data and compares actual accomplishments with previously established performance measures and oversees and assists in the preparation of reports including but not limited to reports to Project Steering Committee, Project Board, and U.S. Department of Education.
• Serves as the point of contact of the project with U.S. Department of Education Program Specialist, communicating with them and responding timely to emails and other inquiries; cooperating with them during monitoring calls and site visits; and seeking guidance regarding allowable activities, questionable costs, budget modifications, key personnel, program issues, and evaluation.
• Creates an Internal Controls Manual for the grant and maintains compliance with it.
• Actively works to institutionalize components of the project.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in a related field.
• Eight years of progressively responsible management experience.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work on a variety of tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of current trends and best practices in instructional software and educational technologies.
• Effective organizational, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Master's Degree from an accredited institution in a related field.
• Similar experience working in higher education.
• At least one year of federal grant experience.

Working Conditions
Working Environment:
• Office environment.
• Occasional evening and weekend hours.
Physical Demands:
• Sedentary work; sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary, if walking and standing are required, only occasionally.
This position will require working both remotely in Texas and on campus (approximately five or more days on campus per month). Travel and parking expenses are the employee's responsibility. Applicants must be adaptable and open to working in both environments.
