Salary Range: $31,200- $37,000 annualized, commensurate with education, experience and qualifications.

Hours: up to 40 hours per week, Monday thru Friday, 8 a.m.- 5 p.m., non-exempt.

Essential Functions

Job Summary

Enrollment Services Associate I

Provides intermediate skills and knowledge for various administrative, technical, and/or processing duties or specialized activities for enrollment services units. Responsible for processing documents and/or processes and interpreting the rules and needs of students for enrollment services units.

Enrollment Services Associate II

Provides intermediate skills and knowledge for various administrative, technical, and/or processing duties or specialized activities for enrollment services units. Responsible for processing large volumes of documents and/or processes and interpreting the rules and needs of students for new student admissions.

Core Responsibilities

Enrollment Services Associate I

Typical:

• Assists with processing documents for new student admissions, which includes applications, test scores, college and high school transcripts, etc.
• Assists with reviewing and researching processing of transcripts to reach a determination and answer inquiries from other campus areas.
• Maintains records as needed for Admissions Operations.
• Assists with document intake, imaging, and indexing for Admissions Operations.
• Performs other duties as assigned for Admissions Operations.
Periodic:

• Participates in committees and/or conferences and meetings.
Enrollment Services Associate II

Typical:

• Assist with processing documents for new student admissions, which includes applications, test scores, college and high school transcripts, etc.
• Maintains records, gathers data, and prepares reports as needed for Admissions Operations.
• Assists with document intake, imaging, and indexing for Admissions Operations
• Performs other duties as assigned for enrollment services units.
Periodic:

• Participates in committees and/or conferences and meetings.
Required Qualifications

Enrollment Services Associate I

• HS/GED Required.
• One (1) year of full-time equivalent experience in enrollment management/services, data entry, customer service, student service, and paperwork processing.
• Bachelor's degree may substitute for the experience.
• Demonstrated organizational, written, and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
• Standard Office Equipment; Microsoft Office knowledge.

Enrollment Services Associate II

• HS/GED Required
• Two (2) years of higher education experience in paperwork processing, data entry, and/or customer service.
• Bachelor's degree with one year of the above experience may substitute.
• Demonstrated organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
• Standard Office Equipment; Microsoft Office knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications

Enrollment Services Associate I

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.
• One year in Higher Education.

Enrollment Services Associate II

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.
• Two years of higher education experience in processing and/or customer service.

Additional Information

• UTSA is a tobacco free campus.
• This is a security sensitive position. Employment is contingent upon a successful background check.
• Applicants selected must be able to show proof of eligibility to work in the United States by time of hire.
• Valid driver's license and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) as applicable.

Working Conditions

• Office environment.
• Ability to travel to and from meetings, training sessions, or other business-related events.
• Occasional after-hours and weekend work or overtime may be required.

Physical Demands:

• Sedentary work; sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required, only occasionally.
• Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally.

This position primarily works remotely in Texas but may work on campus on an infrequent basis (approximately four days or less per month). When an employee is required to work on campus, travel and parking expenses are the employee's responsibility. Applicants must be adaptable and open to working in both environments.
