Salary Range: Up to $39,099- $59,560 annualized, commensurate with education, experience and qualifications.
Hours: up to 40 hours per week, exempt.

Essential Functions
Job Summary
To provide professional skills in conducting research, coordination of communication/publications and projects, and analyzing data to aid administrators in the decision-making process.
Responsible for gathering and analyzing information on a wide range of topics, and dissemination of information relating to reporting and projects.
Core Responsibilities
• Coordinates and plans department projects and events. Conducts analysis and research on problem definition and issue resolution. Makes recommendations and supports implementation as appropriate.
• Provides administrative support for the office, including coordinating meeting logistics and handling office inquiries and visitors.
• Serves as the department's point of contact for gathering and disseminating information related to assigned administrative duties and projects. Researches, drafts, and coordinates inter-office communication, correspondence, and policy clarification.
• Supports large projects, events, or initiatives as needed.
• Acts as a liaison with other departments regarding inventory control, building services, equipment maintenance and repair, purchasing, safety, and other administrative matters.
• Coordinates responses as assigned, for institutional information that may be received from the UT System Board of Regents, UT System administration, state and federal agencies, and/or other governmental or regulatory entities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Three (3) years of related professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications
• Five (5) years of related professional experience.
Knowledge Skills, and Abilities
• Strong planning, analytical, time management, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to effectively plan, organize, and evaluate events and activities. Ability to organize and effectively communicate information and professionally represent the Provost's Office/Academic Affairs.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple high-priority projects.

Working Conditions

• Ability to travel to and from meetings, training sessions, or other business-related events.
Physical Demands:
• Sedentary work; sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required, only occasionally.
• Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally.
This position will be primarily located on campus. Travel and parking expenses are the employee's responsibility.
