Description
A.T. Still University's Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health (ATSU-ASDOH) is seeking a full-time non-exempt Sterilization Technician for Orthodontics. This position works under the direction of the Inventory Manager and is responsible for sterilizing used instruments and checking out clean instruments to dental students, residents, staff, and faculty.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Complete equipment sterilization on a daily basis.
• Maintain dental equipment inventory and supply control system as needed.
• Follow sterilization and infection control protocols, OSHA standards, and HIPAA regulations.
• May float as needed between sterilization, dispensary, and inventory areas.

Requirements
Skills & Experience:

• High school diploma and some college or technical training required.
• Previous inventory/supply room experience is helpful but not required.
• Understanding of supply chain management.
• Previous sterilization experience and OSHA, and HIPAA knowledge required.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, Excel)
• Effective communication skills.
