Overview:

The associate director of undergraduate admissions will assist the director and department in admissions, recruiting, and marketing functions for undergraduate admissions. The associate director will assist in developing, implementing, and carrying out recruitment and marketing strategies and serve as a representative for Salem State University on recruiting efforts. The associate director will manage the day-to-day operations of the Undergraduate admissions team, including the supervision of the admissions counseling team.

Required Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree
  2. Three to five years of related experience in admissions or related field.
  3. Three to five years of supervisory experience.
  4. Demonstrated ability to set goals and develop strategic initiatives and priorities for a team.
  5. A valid driver's license, and access to a reliable personal vehicle is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Master's degree in Higher Education, Marketing, or a related field.
  2. Fluency in Spanish or another language.
  3. Experience with a CRM (TargetX/Salesforce) and/or PeopleSoft Student Information System.

Working Location

This is a hybrid position in Salem, MA with regular on-campus, in-person responsibilities.

Willingness and ability to work evenings and weekends; travel required (annual travel is estimated at approximately 8-10 weeks per year, locally, and nationally.
