Assistant Professor, Biology (Temporary)
POSITION: ASSISTANT PROFESSOR- (TEMPORARY)
LOCATION: BIOLOGY
The Department of Biology invites applications for a one-year full-time appointment as an Assistant Professor commencing September 2025 to teach at New Jersey City University’s (NJCU’s) William J. Maxwell College of Arts & Sciences. This is a 10-month position carrying a 24 credit-hours teaching load for the 2025-26 academic year.
JOB SUMMARY: The successful candidate will be able to teach a wide range of courses, maintain at least 5 hours of on-campus office hours, and contribute to the functioning of the department through committee work. The ability to manage undergraduate students in research is considered a plus.
