ATSU - Boiler Plant Operator
Description
A.T. Still University (ATSU) is seeking a non-exempt, full-time Boiler Plant Operator for the Kirksville, Missouri campus. A Boiler Plant Operator maintains and operates boiler and ancillary equipment. This position reports to the Boiler Plant Supervisor.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain and operate boilers and ancillary equipment.
- Perform minor repairs.
- Record Keeping.
- Water sample testing.
- Custodial duties.
- Inventory and stock supplies.
- Checking underground storage tank.
- Checking off sites.
- Boiler tear down and cleaning for inspections.
- Transport hazardous chemicals (water treatments) short distances across campus.
- Monitor chemical treatment and report issues.
- Perform occasional fabrication.
- Some general construction tasks.

- Mechanical, electrical, and controls.
- Pipe fitting.

- Steam service and distribution.

- Emergency generator operation.
