COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
• Salary Range: Yearly salary of $86,901.00 -$121,795.00 (25/26 Faculty Salary Schedule); Placement within this range is determined by teaching experience, other related professional experience, and academic degrees. EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY:
Santa Rosa Junior College is seeking an individual with demonstrated instructional skills to join an outstanding team of faculty and instructional administrators to provide high quality programs and services to our district, our community, and most importantly, our students. This is a full-time, regular contract position in the English for Multilingual Students Department at Santa Rosa Junior College, beginning Fall Semester, August 2026. Appointments are contingent upon funding and Board approval.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
• Provide high-quality instruction and academic support to students in Natural Resources and related courses, which may include day, evening, weekend, online, hybrid, and/or off-campus assignments. Many classes include indoor and outdoor instruction.
• Develop, update, and revise curriculum to meet the needs of students pursuing transfer and career education pathways, incorporating current instructional technologies, industry practices, and effective teaching strategies.
• Serve as Program Coordinator and discipline expert for the Natural Resources Program, providing leadership for program planning, coordination, and long-term sustainability, in accordance with the faculty collective bargaining agreement (All Faculty Association contract).
• Engage with local agencies, industry, and community partners to inform curriculum, workforce relevance, and emerging trends.
• Provide vision and strategic direction for program growth and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree(s) or higher AND two years of professional experience directly related to the faculty member's teaching assignment.
OR Associate degree(s) AND six years of professional experience directly related to the faculty member's teaching assignment.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
