The Senior Administrative Assistant to the Vice President of Academic Affairs will support the Vice President of Academic Affairs in all Instructional business, functions, and activities by performing key administrative and organizational tasks for the Office of the VPAA and supporting all administrators reporting to the VPAA, faculty, staff, students, and outside constituents as needed through the daily operations of the office.
A minimum of an Associate Degree is required. A minimum of one year of work experience, technical skills, including proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and strong math skills preferred. Additional requirements include a preference for strong writing, effective communication, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in higher education.
College responsibilities, such as committee duties; duties as assigned by the President or VPAA.
Travel Requirements:May, on occasion, travel to a distant site location.
Environment:Work may generally be performed in an office setting with frequent interruptions and changes in the workflow/volume. May require some outdoor work for CBC events.
