Essential Functions:

The Coordinator of Allied Health supports the daily operations and administrative functions of the college’s Allied Health and Nursing programs. This position assists with student advisement, course scheduling, program compliance, and faculty support to ensure efficient delivery of health-related instruction and workforce training. The coordinator serves as a key resource for students, faculty, and external partners engaged in Allied Health and Nursing activities.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate day-to-day administrative tasks for Allied Health programs, including scheduling, room assignments, and instructional support.
  • Maintain program records, student data, and compliance documentation consistent with institutional and accrediting agency standards.
  • Maintain accurate clinical site records in accordance with institutional policies, FERPA, and applicable regulatory and accrediting expectations.
  • Assist in student recruitment, application processing, and advising for Allied Health and Nursing pathways.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure smooth operation of labs, classrooms, and clinical placements.
  • Prepare purchase requisitions, manage program inventory, and monitor budget expenditures.
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments, clinical affiliates, and community partners to support program needs.
  • Support promotion and outreach activities for Allied Health and Nursing programs, including community and campus events.
  • Assist with preparation of reports, program reviews, and documentation required for institutional effectiveness, accreditation, and state and licensing agencies.
  • Maintain confidentiality of student and program information in accordance with FERPA and institutional policy.
  • Provide clerical and organizational support to the Directors and Dean, and perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:

Associate degree from an accredited institution.

Two (2) years of experience in an educational, healthcare, or administrative support role.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data management systems.

Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution

Experience in a higher education or workforce training environment.

Knowledge of accreditation or licensure requirements relevant to Allied Health and/or Nursing programs.

Familiarity with clinical site coordination or student placement processes.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency preferred.
